A little something to wow them away and bring them spiritual blessings!
The stone Garnet is known to represent love, passion, inspirations, money and inner-healing- everything you would want to wish upon a loved one on their birthday. But we have to say the best thing about this stone is the colour, we cannot get enough of it. A deep red with purple undertones which will suit anyone, guaranteed.

The name “garnet” comes from the Latin word “Garanatus,” meaning “seedlike,” in reference to a pomegranate, as the little seed inside resembles the actual stone. Garnets were highly popular in Europe, in 18th and 19th centuries - they were frequently being set into jewellery. In Spanish astrology, the garnet once represented the sun. In ancient times, garnet was known as ”Carbuncle,” which relates to the color and refers to a boil or blister. This name was also applied to other red stones, but to the garnet in particular.

Designers like Sally Ratcliffe use this particular stone across her jewellery, when matched with her handcrafted designs, we just can't stress how beautiful this mixture is. Going from our little lesson is how Spaniards loved Garnets, Jorge Revilla Jewellery from Spain showcases garnets in eye-catching ways with more modern and incredible designs. Or if you are looking for a cheaper option for you loved one, we can suggest the Chrysalis Birthstone Collection which offers stunning silver, gold and rose gold plated bangles with encrusted birthstones. Or perhaps Amore Argento Jewellery, with little sparkling garnet studs and matching necklaces, you'll never go wrong with Amore.
